Hi, I'm Sebastián.

Systems engineer based in San José, Costa Rica. I work with industrial software — SCADA, OT, the networks that keep factories running — and in my off hours I draw, design type and build small interactive things on the web.

This site is my public notebook: long-form explanations with simulations, visual experiments and illustration work. No analytics, no ads, no cookies — just things made with time.

What's here

In Writing I publish long articles about the physical and industrial systems I run into at work, trying to explain them with the clarity I wish I'd had the first time around.

In Art I keep illustrations I make in Krita and lettering exercises. In Labs live loose experiments — animations, toys, code fragments that teach something.
